We created PocketEye to empower health care providers in providing the best possible eye care

As an NHS ophthalmologist, I witnessed firsthand how complex the healthcare system is for patients and primary care practitioners to navigate. Communication between primary and secondary eye care can be fragmented, and patients and care providers can feel unsupported in the care they receive or provide.

PocketEye was created to empower colleagues working in eye care to deliver the best possible care they can, helping them to feel supported in clinical decisions, and ultimately enhance the patient's experience and outcome.  

With a collaborative and communicative approach, we aim to transform eye care so our patients don't have to attend and wait for hours unnecessarily in hospital A&E and so that primary eye care providers don't have to wait for hours to receive clinical advice.
